We purchased the bag this summer as a 'test' bag, and are so happy with it that we would like to replace a few more for next summer, and the Hotcore is a great size, particularly if air travel is also involved.

Hi guys! Just bought a sleeping bag yesterday - a -20C green rectangular one (R-300), and man am I pleased with it! I'm just under 6ft tall, 120 lbs, and as a tall, skinny, adventuresome woman, could not find a sleeping bag that fit my body anywhere! You guys rock; this is just what I'm looking for!

I have a Hotcore sleeping bag I purchased last year and it is fantastic. It is rated to minus 10. I winter camped with it last year and camped with it this summer and it was perfect for both. The quincy was warm and there was a lot of condensation on my bag in the morning but the water resistence was great.

HotcoreR sleeping bags are lightweight and compact sleeping bags for the recreational backpacker, camper, and world traveler. We are using TRUELOFT micro fibre insulation that traps more warm air between its micro fibers than traditional insulations with the same loft, giving you a warm sleeping bag in a compact and lightweight package. TRUELOFT is lightweight, compressible, breathable, and extremely quick drying, all to keep you warm and comfortable.

CRITICAL LAYER CONSTRUCTIONTM

We have added an extra layer of TRUELOFT™ insulation in the core body area, from the neckline to below the beltline, to help achieve and maintain the temperature ratings. This extra layer of insulation will trap more warmth from the body than comparable sleeping bags, while adding very little to the weight, size, and cost of the sleeping bag. Think of it as putting on a jacket, the first thing we all do when we need to stay warm. We call this Critical Layer ConstructionTM.
We encourage the use of a fleece or wool toque if using a Hotcore sleeping bag that does not have a hood. Go to the Useful Information tab for more comments on temperature ratings and sleeping warm.

Our products are designed in Canada and we are 100% Canadian owned and operated.
